leaving the sickbay

what a rubbish year…

after being chained to my bed for the last week, seeing the fantastic autumn light only thru my windows, i had to leave the sickbay as soon as i could. i did so by visiting the ‚pfaueninsel‘, the peacock island. its a fantastic spot south west of berlin. attached some impressions, hope you like them:

frühling in den marienfelder alpen

jewish cemetery flosz

in the late 17th century jews got the right of settlement in the small over 1000yrs old market town flosz. a few years later a cemetary was opened. the last burial took place in 1946.

im späten 17.jhd erhielten juden das recht sich in der kleinen, über 1000 jahre alten marktgemeinde floß anzusiedeln. wenige jahre später wurde ein friedhof eröffnet. die letzte beerdigung fand 1946 statt.
