this summer i had an equally unfortunate and unwanted meeting with an internist.i was told to take things easier and reduce stress. since then i try to include long walks into my weekly routine.

today i combined such a with the testing of a nikon threaded tokina 17mm f3.5. so i went to the grunewald, the biggest forrest in berlin. here the results.

wolken und regen die tage zuvor,
ich brauchte aber nach einem langen tag stadtrundfahrten natur!
also rein in das beast und raus in die alpen.

ein fototrip durch den spandauer forst

wie ich schon vor einiger zeit angekündigt habe werde ich vermehrt führungen und exkursionen durch berlin machen. während im normalen sightseeing programm die bekannten dinge abgeklappert werden, nehme ich mir vor einen etwas anderen weg einzuschlagen. ich erkunde meine stadt berlin. und ich gehe runter vom trampelpfad.

gestern habe ich den spandauer forst erkundet. vorne weg ich werde wieder kommen. nächstesmal hoffentlich mit natur interessierten fotofreundinnen und freunden die sich diese wunderschöne naturschutzgebietanschauen wollen. genug geredet.schaut euch meine fotos an und wenn ihr dahin wollt, einfach bei mir melden bigmanstours@gmail.com.

einer meiner lieblingsorte in berlin ist im südwesten. mitten im wald wo die a 9 mal war. ich mag es wie die wildnis und grafitti künstlerinnen und künstler die zivilisation übernehmen. diese wildniskunstgeschichte hat auch ihr erstes produkt geschaffen, einen adidas baum. wenn ihr mal da hinwollt. schreibt mich an. the big man does tours.

finally its spring time! after something that couldnt be named winter. nevertheless i had to get out and about and even thou i just got myself a new canon i decided to take out the old and heavy mamiya rb67. a little work out in pretty swampy terrain. i need to invest into a new scanner, if you want to help me out, dont be shy!

the magic of pinhole

for quite some time the holga pinhole wide yadhayadhiya whateverthebloodycamerasexactnameis stood on my shelf. the first attempts with that plastic beast were not really satisfying and so i put it onto the shelf and i forgot all about it. this was up until yesterday. i felt like i had to take it out and about. four shots in a roll. two turned out ok. i hope you like them. feel free to leave an opinion.

ne ganze zeitlang stand die holga pinhole wide oderwieauchimmerdieseverdammtekameraheißt auf meinem regal. meine ersten schritte mit diesem plastikmonster waren nicht wirklich zufriedenstellend und so packte ich sie aufs regal und vergass sie langsam. bis gestern, dann dachte ich mir das ich sie rausholen mußte und mal wieder aktivieren sollte. auf eine rolle film komme vier fotos. zwei davon waren ok. ich hoffe sie gefallen euch auch. sagt mir eure meinung dbzgl.

80 km to the east of berlin

the valley in front of the seelow heights were the battleground for the big set piece battle in the second world war in the european theater. it was on my list for year to pay that location a visit. yesterday was the day. i visited the museum and the ridge on which zhukov had his command post.

i will get back to seelow. i will work more on this piece of land and provideyou with information. so far our friends from wikipedia might help you.

after i went home i did my first ever stand development. it turned out very gritty. i like it, even though i m sure that it can look better and that i will work on it.
