roadtrip – two burgs and two bergs
Ich wurde von der rosa luxemburg stiftung eingeladen an einer lesung anlässlich des 100. jahrestags der gewährung der kriegskredite für den ersten weltkrieg teilzunehmen. Ich sollte als historiker meine sicht auf damals und heute geben. Ein sehr spannendes treffen. Danach dachte ich mir, wenn ich schon mal ausserhalb der stadt bin, dann kann ich auch weiter fahren und machte mich auf den weg nach nürnberg, amberg und regensburg. Natürlich hatte ich meine kamera dabei. Hier nun einige impressionen des roadtrips. Wer zeitnaher meine fotos erleben will, sollte auch meinen instagram account abonnieren.

Introduced in 1978 by Foto-Quelle under the Revue label, the Revue 400 SE was a compact, fixed-lens, 35mm shutter-priority rangefinder camera. The camera is very similar in most respects to the Minolta Hi-Matic 7sII, Vivitar 35ES and Konica Auto S3, and is believed to have been built by Cosina for Foto-Quelle. The 400SE has a fast (f/1.7) 40mm, six-element lens that has garnered a reputation for extremely sharp and detailed images.

The east side gallery
25 years ago the wall fell in berlin. but not the entire wall. the longest section left is the east side gallery. this section of the wall was turned into an open air gallery. one of the great attractions for tourists from all over the world.

vor 25 jahren viel die mauer. allerdings nicht in gänze. das längste stück was übrig blieb ist die east side gallery. dieser teil der mauer wurde eine große freiluft ausstellung. eine der tollsten attraktionen für touristen aus aller welt.

feeling the need to see something else i took the car and went out to the border of berlin. at the old airfield of gatow an interessting array of aircraft is presented to the public. i used the afternoon of a very nice day to have a shoot or two at those old beauties.
